Give Your Cats Time FURminator Giveaway #PetHairSolutions

cats grooming

Cat Groom Many Hours Every Day

All cats groom even the big cats.  According to an article in the Journal of Feline Medicine and Surgery, our house cats will groom on average 3.6 hours per day, or about 25% of  their waking hours while others sources estimate adult cats can spend up to 50% of their waking hours grooming.  The FURminator® deShedding Tool reduces shedding up to 90%. So by helping them remove their undercoat and loose hair, your cat will have a bit more time to play and bird watch.

The FURminator’s deShedding Edge Removes Hair Rather Than Cutting

One of the great things about the FURminator is that the deShedding tool’s edge actually removes hair rather than cutting or stripping the hair. The stainless steel edge reaches deep beneath your cat’s topcoat to safely remove undercoat and loose hair.  There is also a FURejector button that cleans and removes loose hair from the tool with ease.

Give Your Cats Time

Annie, Eddie and Mercy like to get their spa treatment especially now that it is hot outside.  It must feel good to get all the extra fur removed so they feel cooler and their coats are smooth.   And less time grooming might mean more time playing.  Which is more fun for the cats and for us.

  • Paula Ball

I’ve seen this tool at work & it’s awesome!! I do rescue & foster so I have A BUNCH OF CATS! I have an eight year old long haired cat (he’s a bottle baby) that I comb several times a week. My comb gets used every day on somebody.

  • The Island Cats

The Furminator really works! We already have 2 of them, so we won’t enter.

  • Iesadora

My two girls definantly need the Large Long Hair one!!!! The fluffier one, Pooka, will let me brush her for a little while once or twice a week when shes being super loveable. PJ on the other hand will not let me brush her unless I restrain her, luckily she doesn’t have a real fluffy undercoat and hardly even has a hairball.

  • kathy downey

I would choose the Large shorthair Furminator for cats – I was very impressed – getting 5 stars, wow I try and brush the every couple of days

  • Elines Acevedo

I comb my kitties with a flea comb once a week. It helps remove debris and fleas if they have any, doesnt help much with shedding though. My boy Shelly has a very dense coat made up of very fine blond hair that gets everywhere! You can usually tell where he has been hangin’ around cause wherever he lays becomes coated in peach fur. My other cats dont shed very much. Mugi has smooth black fur and our tortie Romy has a thick soft coat that feels like a bunny’s.

  • Ann Richter Hickox

I would choose the Large shorthair Furminator for cats – I also was very impressed with it getting 5 stars, and anyone I know who’s used one, loves it, and they say their pets love it too. My boy cat, Ralphie, has such weird hair – he has these bristle-y ones, almost like quills, but not /quite/ that hard, and a slight undercoat, so when I brush him, sometimes I get another cat from him! He loves to be brushed, so I usually do it about once every one or two weeks, it’s one of our bonding times. My girl cat, Peanut, is a senior now (she’s 14 this year), and her hair has always been fairly thin, but now it’s even thinner. Still, she really loves to be brushed, and I think the furminator would help me make sure she doesn’t have any excess hair she’s swallowing. :)

  • Julie

Small Short Hair Cat deShedding Tool. I try to do a full brushing at least weekly, but my Frannie doesn’t care for it too much. She doesn’t have any problems with hairballs, though. Brushing her is mostly to keep the furniture and clothing as fur free as possible.

  • Linda Szymoniak

I have three cats – one Maine Coon, who I try to brush even a little bit every day (he has longer hair that tangles and mats and hates being brushed with a standard brush) and two short-haired, who I don’t brush on any schedule, but it’s probably 1-2 times a week.

  • Amy Orvin

I brush my cats every day. Every time they are in my lap, I grab the brush I keep next to the couch.

  • Nkl1956

I would like Furminator for long hair cats. I brush Rascal daily, but we still have problems with hairballs.

  • Misha Estrada

We don’t brush our cat as often as we should. She used to be a stray and can still be kind of feisty when we try to fuss with her too much. I think this would be helpful.

  • Judy Simon

I would love to try the furminator for short hair cats, the smaller one. My cats loved to be pampered at the spa! Like your’s I think it makes them cooler & they don’t have to swallow all that fur! You know what that means for us, less clean up of furballs! We would also have less furbunnies flying around!! Oh how wonderful this would be! Thanks so much for the offer! We brush our cats every other evening <3

  • RitaMeow

If we win I would also pick the Large Short-hair FURminator for cats. I love how it’s rated 5 stars on FURminator’s website :-) I have 2 big boy kitties…I try to brush them 2x a week but it’s a bit of a battle, my fat boys do not like it. We also battle over clipping nails so it’s not a surprise they fight me on the brushing. I think they’re insulted and immediately groom themselves again after the offense of me messing their hair up, lol!

  • Eric J McKnight

If I win, I would like the Large Short-hair FURminator for cats. I hate to admit that I only brush my cat, Briley, occasionally (maybe once a week) even though he does need it more often. He is 7 years-old now, and as he ages his coat is getting slightly longer and shedding a lot more. I have always wanted a FURminator tool but never got one due to my very tight budget. I know both Briley and I would appreciate this gift a lot!
