The Silver Cat Essence Necklace Giveaway

Cat Essence Necklace

The Spirit of “Catness”

All of our cats have that indispensable quality that determines their character.  Every cat is unique but they all have that spirit or “catness” that makes us fall in love with them.

I have been thinking about Annie, Eddie and Mercy and trying to narrow it down to one word. For Annie, I think of the words Smart and Fearless.  For Eddie, I think of his big MEOW when he wants something and sweet. Mercy is Independent and sweet too.  When we distill it down what traits do all cats have in common.

How would you describe your cat in one word?  Smart, Independent, Sweet?  What makes up your cat’s unique spirit and lovable nature?

Ornery! He’s a rescue right after hurricane Katrina. We picked him up 2 days after the storm, and it took us two years!!! to get him to the point of him letting us touch him. He bit the vet and drew a large amount of blood, the very first day we got him. He recommended taking him back to the shelter, which obviously we didn’t! He’s a truly loving cat now, though he only allows you to pet him once or twice before he gives you the warning twitch of his tail.

  • Nancy Blue Moon

  • Rebecca Hendricks

Courageous. She is about the size of a 6-month-old kitten, but she doesn’t care. She keeps all the boys, all bigger than her, some twice her size, in line.

Really, it depends on who you ask in my family & on what day. Some days he is wild, occasionally rude, but usually super sweet. Since cats have multiple personalities & multiple lives, it is impossible to use just a single word to describe them, so the only true single word would be “indescribable,” I suppose.

  • Deb Barnes – Zee and Zoey

Well – I have seven cats, but to me, all of them are “purr-fect.”

  • Teri Ramos

  • The word we use for my cat is “Oh” usually followed by “Frank” said with exasperation. He is a ridiculous cat

  • Jackie M.

  • Melanie Gray

I would describe my cat as either ‘chunky’ or ‘cranky’ lol

  • Lindsey Cooper

The one word I’d choose to describe Shamrock is sweet. She is just a sweetheart who loves to snuggle!

  • Sierra M. Koester

Using just one word to describe my cats is tough!

I’d choose “regal” for Milita and “caring” or “compassionate” for Carmine.

  • Michele Demaio

    In one word…DIVINE…meow

  • biggie55

  • Cyndi Hess Dye

Mine would have to be sweet. She’s an absolute sweetheart <3

Well, we have three cats – each with different personalities. My one word for my Maine Coon, Koneko, is “lazy”. Moko’s word would be “affectionate”. Arata’s word would be “crazy!”

I currently don’t have a cat (mine passed away last May), but I would describe all of my cats I’ve had as loving.
