With my financial state now, I would definitely stop using tissue/toilet papers and replaced it with cloth/use water to clean myself. That way, tigers especially the Sumateran Tigers are saved from its’ habitat and indirectly save my cost of buying tissues/ toilet papers !

I tell ya, if I could, I would build the largest big cat sanctuary, ever (100+ acres at the least), and put every last one of them in it…but for now, I donate to Defenders of Wildlife every year. I am reading about FSC certified products in other comments…I will now go look into and learn what that is. 🙂
I would be honored to wear a watch with Gracey’s image on it! Sharing with others (especially my husband’s cousin who goes on hunting safaris in Africa!!) the importance of saving tigers and all endangered species AND also integral is saving their habitat and spreading the news about that too. Spread the news, don’t rest quitely.
I’ll make sure my recycled products are also FSC certified and also make sure my palm oil is safe. I contribute monthly to the World Wildlife Fund (and have for years) – I hope they’re really doing the things they say they are to save tigers and other wildlife!

stop going to any place that condones the use of tigers in anything that is not wild and free – companies and people will stop trying to use them as a means to make money if the people refuse to see or use

Stop buying products that contain tiger parts or that destroy the tiger habitats in order to make the product, sign petitions, support and donate animal conservation groups, have stricter laws in foreign countries about poaching and hunting tigers, and more stricter laws about not owning big cats.
So many things that can be done. I donate when I can to groups like the WWF. I also try to spread the word about helping to save tigers and other animals. I’ll try to buy recycled paper products such as you mentioned in your article, too.
wow, there are so many things if i had the money, stop the import, stop the killing in foreign countries, get congress to ban imports of tigers and all big cats. stop people from owning these big cats as “pets”.
