New PetSafe Current Pet Fountain Giveaway

Petsafe Current Pet Fountain

Helping Your Cat Drink More Water

We know you do your best to encourage your cat to drink more water.  Keeping your cat properly hydrated helps prevent urinary and kidney diseases and also speeds up recovery for sick and injured pets.  You might have your eye on a pet water fountain but aren’t sure your cat will like it or drink from it and some of the fountains can be a little bit pricey.

The NEW PetSafe Current Pet Fountain

PetSafe Current Pet Fountain

PetSafe understood your concerns and created the new  Current Pet Fountain. The fountain uses an activated carbon filter that removes bad tastes and odors from tap water, encouraging cats to drink more of the fresh water.  Heather Owens, Category Manager – Water and Feed Solutions for PetSafe brand thinks the new Current Pet Fountain is a great starter fountain for cat owners.

“Some pets that are used to drinking out of a bowl may be hesitant to approach fountains with free-falling water,” Owens said. “Since the Current Pet Fountain more closely resembles a plastic water bowl, its’ a great way for you to provide your pet with a constant source of fresh, filtered water, whether you’re home or away.”

The PetSafe Current Pet Fountain’s BPA-free plastic design comes apart for easy cleaning and is dishwasher safe.  This fountain comes in a trendy Orchid color sure to brighten up any room.  It also features handgrips on the side of the bowl for easy carrying and placement, as well as a snap-on lid to prevent accidental removal by curious pets.

The new fountain comes in three sizes: 40 oz, 80 oz, and 120 oz water capacity and are priced at $19.99-$39.99 depending on size and is available for purchase on

On the counter cause thats were they prefer to drink.

  31. I will put it in the kitchen pet feeding area.

  32. It sounds a bit crazy, and I’m not sure if it will work, but what I would like to do is put this water station up on a low table that is by the window where my cat Leonardo hangs out. He has a bed on this table and often eats food there. the thing is that the other fountain is on the floor and the dog uses it. The cat really doesn’t like feeling vulnerable around the dog so sometimes he just won’t drink there. He is also one of those cats that simply can not comprehend still water in a bowl. He puts his paws in, he tips it over but he doesn’t drink it.

I’ll put the pet water fountain in the kitchen.

  41. Linda Szymoniak says

If I win this I’d put it in my kitchen where my cats could get it – but not my dogs. I keep multiple bowls of water for my furbabies, but my cats and dogs usually share the same bowls. Unfortunately, dogs tend to slobber when they drink, so it would be nice if the cats had their own, fresh water supply.

  42. Lisa Sheldon says

I would put the fountain in my kitchen

  43. I would love to have one of these for my Baby. She came to me in early 2002 and quickly become the little princess of the house. Now as she has gotten older she prefers to NOT be with other cats so I let her have the basement as her own. But I do worry that being inactive as she is now she might not eat or drink very well. This would be perfect for her. A small not too needy fountain that might encourage her to drink more and move around more often. She’s still playful and much happier downstairs but she will always be my Baby and I miss having her upstairs in my lap for hours on end. Just want her to be happy. I’ll post with this a picture of Baby watching a special on cats on the TV. She spent over 30 minutes watching before she realized the cats were not going to run out the back of the television. 😉

  44. Shadow Dance Ranch Kittehs says

Momma would probably put it on the kitchen counter. We have water bowls all around, but none of them have outlets near them except the 2 in the kitchen. xoxoxo Dancer and the SDR Clan

  45. I’ll put it in the master bedroom so my cats will have a drinking option up there. When they’re downstairs, they prefer to drink out of the dogs’ water dish.

  46. Daniel Scott says

The kitchen has a great place for a pet water fountain and it will be out of the way of the cooking area.

I would place the fountain in my upstairs hall where Belle likes to lounge.

  53. Roxanne Coryell says

  54. Subhadhra Gunn says

I would put this lovely fountain right next to their food in their “catified” room.
I also love the kitty earrings.
I love this group. Really wonderful people.

  55. The kitchen is where the feeder is for my crew, and I’d also place the fountain there, because it is directly below a plug in. The current water bowl would be placed somewhere throughout the house along with the other two.

  56. I would put it in the kitchen. I made my cats their own dining table that I put next to the people dining table. So, I would put the fountain there. Thanks!

  57. Nancy Blue Moon says

    In the kitchen!

  58. Rebecca Hendricks says

I’d find a way to put it in the bathroom, which is where they get their water — from two bowls and a cup beside the sink. It’s easy to keep them filled and fresh there, and easy for the kitties to get to.

  59. I try to keep water available at different places throughout
the house. I would probably put this in the living room since they like to spend so much time with me in there.

  60. Janet Collins says

Well, like most of your friends, we have multiple cats 🙂 So, it always helps to have water ready…so probably the living room by the french doors…thanks for all the fun!

  61. Sierra M. Koester says

Carmine loves his PetSafe Pagoda fountain, and I’m sure he would love this one, too.

  69. I would put the fountain in my living room. We already have a water bowl in there and it’s near an outlet I can plug the fountain into.

  70. I would put it in our kitchenette area where there is an outlet & it’s not a busy part of the room so they can drink in peace.

  71. Aime Di Marco Espie says

I know my kitties would love using the fountain…I would put it in my kitchen for them.

  72. We actually love our fountain lots! So far, every kitty here has adjusted to drinking from a fountain.

  73. My cat likes to drink out of the dog’s water bowl which is in the kitchen so I would put it in the kitchen. He also likes to splash the water so I don’t know what he would think of a fountain!

  74. I would place it in my kitchen where there’s a plug available.

  75. Tammy Dusenberry Cole says

I would put the fountain in the kitchen near her food 🙂

  76. i’ll put this on my kitchen counter to keep them from begging to drink out of the sink!

  77. I would put this pet fountain between my kitties food plates where their current water dish is. I can run the cord under the table near by and connect it to an extension cord. They would love this!

  78. Theresa Spaid says

I will probably put it upstairs for them Shunta my dog uses the one downstairs so they have their own special one upstairs.

  79. Andrea Robbs says

Mine would go on the bathroom counter, they are always begging for running water from the sinks, this way it would always be available for them 🙂

  80. Milene Mittelhauser says

Well, I currently keep the water bowl in my bathtub where they like to drink. I would put the fountain in the kitchen and hope to lure them back there.

  81. I have an older, mostly toothless cat who has his own room so he can nibble his food throughout the day without interference from the other cats. I would put this fountain in Gibbs’ room.

  82. Thank you for this wonderful opPURR-TUNA-ty to win something so essential! Our current fountain is looking pretty nasty due to hard water deposits, so we’re entering this contest!

  87. Laura Carter says

I just know my kitties would love this fountain!

  88. Our new place has a butler’s pantry, we turned it into a space for our cats. A bed in the window and a feeding station on the floor. This fountain will fit perfectly in place of their current water dish.

  89. We have one in the kitchen. But I’d love to get a 2nd one to put in our master bathroom for our 15 yr. old tortie – she spends a lot of time in there and our bedroom; she has her “special” princess perch in there so she can look out the window to watch the birdies!

  90. Shelly Greene says

My kitties would love this! It would also encourage them to drink more water. 🙂
