    We have both–4 dogs (just lost a 12 yr old Great Dane) and 7 cats–as well as a ferret, birds and aquatic turtles. As animals age, this will probably go down, but we combined into a multigenerational home, and the pets came along with!

    We have a 3 yr old Mixed Shepard and Border Collie named Roxy who we rescued and we also have a Mixed Breed Long Haired Cat who from day one when we got him at 5 weeks old was nothing but trouble hence his name Trouble lol.

    I share my home with …multiple senior rescue cats. It isn’t that I don’t like dogs. I just have enough on my plate without training a puppy or acclimating a canine into a feline home. We are quiet and comfortable as we are.

    I am fortunate enough to have been selected by the 3 feline owners of the house to be allowed to live with them! I am tasked with the day to day cleanliness of their home, paying all the bills, plus I am their cook and occasional referee! I have a bed that at times I am literally just hanging off of. So I am not so sure as to what I am-perhaps maid or better yet servant. The pay is GREAT though!! Tons of interesting things to keep me amused, lots of cuddling and I hear all the gossip! Yes I would highly recommend this job!! LOL!

    The cat has graciously allowed me to share her space. She is 12 years old. She rescued me. It’s because of her I formed a rescue called Confluence Cat Rescue.

    I am very blessed to share my home with my 3 rescue siblings. I had the great good fortune to foster them at 3 weeks old, when they lost their mother, in southern CA, thirteen years ago. In fostering them, I fell in love with them and adopted all 3. I brought them with me when I moved up to Bellingham, WA.
    I would just love winning those beautiful earrings. (Thank you for giving me the chance to enter by including Firefox with the other browsers.)

    I currently have six dogs and am without a kitty for the first time since I was 10. But, I will eventually get another. My doggies keep me super busy right now.

    We currently have four Treeing Walker Coonhounds and two cats – all rescues. I lost my deaf hound girl, Ran, last April and our senior Maine Coon cat in February, so we’ll likely be adopting both another cat and dog soon. I can’t live without my fur babies

    I have a black cat that I adopted in 2004 and a rescue I took in that someone through out. He wasn’t even a year old yet and was neutered and all 4 claws amputated. Who does that? He had been out side for a minimum of 2 weeks before he finally approached me after I had been feeding him for those 2 weeks. He had obviously been abused. He is now a very happy baby even though my previous cat doesn’t like him. She’s very spoiled and doesn’t like sharing me, lol.

    Over the years I have been blessed to share my home and life with several beautiful tuxedo princesses. Sadly, my current living situation precludes me from having a companion kitty to call my own, but I volunteer at an area shelter where I like to think I have hundreds of feline friends. =^.^=
