Hartz Angry Birds Toys are Bossy Backyard Blue Jay Approved!

Happy September Friends! As a super exciting way to start the month, we wanted to introduce to you, the all new, Hartz Angry Birds cat toys! This past weekend at blogpaws we had the opportunity to learn about these exciting new toys that will be available for the holidays. Jennifer and Alex from Hartz invited us to learn about the fun new toys and they are so nice, they gave us a few toys so that we could share them with you! On the way home I thought who would be better to tell you about Angry Birds other than our very own angry bird, Bossy Backyard Blue Jay. This is so awesome! I love angry birds and have my own stuffed versions which my cats constantly try to claim as their own. Now they can have their own angry bird toys! I love the angy bird wand and know my cats will flip over that as well. But I really think the running bird would be a huge hit with my kitties!!

Id have to say my fav birds are cockatiels like my Rocky here (he’s watching what I answer from my shoulder) oh, and blue jays! He thinks these toys are a good idea cuz it’ll distract the cats from trying to play with him. Katy would prefer the catnip toys, Mia and Dirky don’t care about catnip, they’d prefer the wand or the Running Bird.

My cat’s favorite bird to get upset at is the Imperial Blue Jay that uses our air conditioner as his perch!! He gets so mad, he runs up to the window (after crossing the top of the TV, making it rock) and chatters right back at it! So, to distract him from it, I think the Running Bird would work best, and keep my TV safe!

My favorite birds are pigeons! They are so cute and gentle and smart. My least favorite birds are the crows and blackbirds that keep eating the food I put out for the feral cats at work.

My Romeo and Juliet at home could probably share the Angry Birds wand, even though Juliet would hog it!

We have a bossy parakeet, but outside I have noticed a lot of yellow finches. I just love how they zoom around. As for Angry Birds, I think my Ellie would like the wand most. She is one of the few cats who isn’t really affected by catnip.

my absolute favorite bird is a cardinal, but my brother loves blue jays-his middle name is jay. I think my cat would best enjoy the birds gone crazy-she loves her balls with the bells in them, and her feather mice so those seem like somewhere in between.

My favorite bird, after the Blue Jay of course, is the American Eagle. They are so majestic!!!!! And a proud symbol of our country. If I would be lucky enough to win, I’d like the wand! Well, Gracey, I am very partial to the Robin, because I raised one who had fallen out of a huge oak, and was abandoned by his parents. He hardly had any fuzz yet I had ”Peepers” for 6 weeks, before releasing him into the wild again.
I think Maggie might like the catnip heads. Although she is almost 15 now, she still loves to play. (Nice of BBB Jay to help you today)

My nine kitties and I enjoy all birds, but especially the cardinals and bluejays that frequent the feeders in the yard!!! The kitties spend a lot of time watching the bluejays swoop in for the peanuts left there as well!!! Does Bossy Backyard Bluejay get peanut treats??!! I’m not at home now so I was not able to consult with the boys. I think Mr. Jingles and Tony Cat would like the CatNip Heads and for little Cheeze, Birds Gone Crazy. They really look like great toys and Angry Birds is such an addictive game. As for a favorite bird, Mr. Jingles is an avid birdwatcher; we have a huge oak tree in front of our apartment and see bluejays, robins, sparrows and occasionally a cardinal. I don’t know if Mr. J has a real preference. I have a soft-spot for Canadian Geese Thanks for letting us know about these super toys Gracey – looking forward to buying them for my boys when they’re in stores.

Well, I just discussed it with Smoki and she told me that the Birds Gone Crazy toy and Angry Bird Wand are both not age appropriate for her… don’t they grow up fast. She said she has been there, done that, but she thinks it is so sweet of you to share your bounty with all. However, she is super excited about the Running Bird toy…said it looks like it is super cool and would really be fun to play with. Plus, because she’s always thinking of my needs, as well, she thinks this is something we could enjoy togethr. So, her vote is for Running Bird!

It’s almost impossible to chose only one favorite bird, but I guess I would have to say a humming bird. They are so fascinating to watch!

Our three cats have different personalities when playing: Aries would love the jingly Birds Gone Crazy, Anubis would go crazy and bunny-kick the Catnip Heads, and Checkers would enjoy chasing the AB Wand.

my favourite bird is really a Jay. We don’t have Blue Jays in my area, but we have 3 Stellar Jays that regularly visit our habitat. They like to sit on the fence, especially when Shadow and Bella are at the window.

My favorite bird is the Goldfinch. They are so beautiful and have really been enjoying our yard this summer. We have 3 finch feeders, a regular bird feeder, and two birdbaths. The Goldfinches use our birdbaths all the time to my delight since they are very visible on my patio. My 3 cats love them too. Hummingbirds are a close second. We enjoy seeing them at our hummingbird feeder.
I believe that my new 6-month old adoptee, Oliver, would love the Running Bird toy. he loves things that he can run after.

My favorites are Red-winged Blackbirds (though I am also fond of Goldfinches … they eat upside down!) because of their gorgeous coloring and because their name sounds like the Detroit Red Wings! I think my cats would like the Angry Birds catnip head. We have tons of wands, and the Birds Gone Crazy would be Birds Gone Under Couch in about 5 minutes.
