Have a Purrfect Valentine’s Day

Happy Purrfect Valentine’s Day

How to have a purrfect Valentine’s Day! This year we are preparing for a couple of snow days. Staring early Monday morning the snow will begin and continue through Tuesday morning. This is the purrfect time to snuggle up with Annie, Eddie and Bob.

You're Purrfect. Purrfect Valentine's Day

Eddie Thinks You’re a Purrfect Valentine for Him!

Eddie is such a sweet boy. He is a quiet and when not snuggling with Annie likes to spend a bit of the day my himself under a blanket on this chair. Eddie is a cat of few meows but once or twice per day when he wants a hug he will meow loudly making it known he wants some love. In the evening he will curl up alongside Paul for a nap.

Will you be mine

annie asks “Will You Be Mine””

Annie is a love bug. She is always nearby unless there is a fire in the fireplace, then she is stretched out long soaking in all the warmth. Every evening Annie curls up tight against my chest and lays her head on my shoulder.

Annie is quite chatty. She talks a lot and is quite persuasive in getting her way. We have three cork trivets on the counter that have now become a ritual with Paul and Annie. He started giving the cats an evening snack. Now when Annie thinks it is time for their snack, she bats the cork trivets off the counter one at a time. Paul and I count down the flying corks. One. A few minutes. Two, about a minute. The third cork hits the floor almost immediately after the second one. We can’t help but laugh. When Paul hears the third cork hit the floor he knows it is time for their snack. Eddie and Bob just wait patiently at their places. They let Annie do the dirty work.

Love. BOB

Bob is so happy to be home and loved

While the snow was falling last week, Bob looked out the door of the sunroom at his old house. We kept it in place in case an opossum or another cat needed shelter from the cold. We have seen a few cats coming and going during the cold nights.

Bob is such a good boy. He is so calm and well behaved. He is gentle and sweet. He surely must have been an indoor cat previous to being tossed outdoors. We are so happy he came to our home and asked for help.

Bob is also a chatty cat. He talks frequently to us throughout the day. He has the cutest little chirping sound. I hug him often throughout the day. He is now healthy and strong with a super shiny coat. Bob often spend the winter days on an electric blanket in the sunroom. Quite a difference from last Valentine’s Day when he was looking for a home.

Love for all cats, big and small

Remembering Gracy, Our heart cat.

Wishing all of you a Purrfect Valentine’s Day. We can’t help but think about our Gracey, our heart cat, and how she inspired us to do what we do. Thank you for being a part of The Tiniest Tiger community.

Welcome to The Tiniest Tiger

Joanne McGonagle Namibia

Hi, I’m Joanne and I love all cats. With a Global Field Master of Zoology degree focused on big cat conservation, I like to learn and talk about big cats too. I share my habitat with Paul and we were adopted by our cats Annie, Eddie and Bob.

The Tiniest Tiger has a fierce following of cat lovers and we’d love it, if you’d join us.
