New Cat Scratchers for the Sunroom

New Cat Scratchers For the SUnroom

It was a sad day when we realized the cat scratchers in the sunroom had seen much better days. Upon closer inspection we realized it was time to replace the old scratchers with some new ones.

As you can see in the image above, Annie didn’t take any time claiming one of the new scratchers. When Eddie and Bob made a move towards the scratcher, Annie did not invite the to share the space. And we worried they might not take to the new style.

PetFusion To the Rescue

We chose the PetFusion Ultimate Cat Scratcher Lounge (This is an Amazon Affiliate Link). This is a large cat scratcher with plenty of room for the cats to not only scratch but to relax and watch bird tv. There would be room for two cats, if Annie were willing to share.

Bob is still a little timid around Annie. He doesn’t seem to want to upset her. Annie is still just a bit afraid of Bob. No signs of aggression toward each other and now Bob can walk by Annie without any hissing or a fat tail from her.

Bob decided to check out the upper deck of the other scratcher we chose, the PetFusion Jumbo Cat Scratcher Lounge. (Also an Amazon Affiliate Link). We chose the white to match with the sunroom trim. We selected this large cat scratcher because there are two levels, and upper and lower deck for the cats to scratch and relax.

Eddie loves to watch birds from the lower deck of the cat scratcher. Annie decided to join him. There is space for both cats to hang out together.

We are pleased with the new cat scratchers. Pet Fusion includes catnip to sprinkle on the scratchers to help attract your cat. We didn’t need to use the catnip. Both scratchers were occupied within the first five minutes. Annie, Eddie and Bob are enjoying watching birds, cat napping and of course scratching.
