Friends, it is our 1st Anniversary Celebration Week! I have games and contests planned for you to show my appreciation of our Friendship. And one of the special surprises is how you can win a Celebrate Your Pet in a Keepsake Bracelet.
Here is the story of how Lisa Taron, The Pet Book Lady rescued me, Gracey The Tiniest Tiger.
Who remembers my gift to my mom for Mother’s Day?
That’s right! I made my mom some Leaf Lace from a Fig Tree leaf. And I gave her Fage Yogurt, which she loves as much as I do. My mom loved her Leaf Lace and she even pressed it in a big book to preserve it and we ate the Fage yogurt together.
Now some of you, Mary Alice, and I won’t mention any names, thought that I gave my dad a better present on his birthday than I gave my mom on Mother’s day. So this got me to thinking about my mom’s upcoming birthday and what I could make her that is super special and will get approval from everyone.
While resting in my “Thinking Circle”, Bad Kitty whispered to me “Gracey, you need the Pet Book Lady.”
My mom and dad met Lisa Taron, The Pet Book Lady at BlogPaws. Lisa even rode in the car with them and she didn’t have to get into a ~shiver~ carrier. As you can see, Lisa loves all animals too and is known as The Pet Book Lady because she is committed to helping people celebrate the love for their pets through Heritage Makers
My mom couldn’t stop talking about Lisa’s Celebrate Your Pet in a Keepsake Bracelet, according to Bad Kitty. He said the bracelet would be a perfect birthday present for my mom. Bad Kitty is a genius.
The bracelet is shiny! I mean who doesn’t like shiny silver? And is personalized with up to 6 photos of your choice! I thought if my mom were choosing the photos, they would be of me, Gracey. But I also chose one of me with my parents. Here is the bracelet that I made for my mom’s birthday.
I promised Bad Kitty that I would tell you how easy it was to make this terrific bracelet. Well it was easy for me because Lisa is so willing to help in case you need assistance. I was doing pretty good but my paw was having trouble with the mouse getting the images centered. Lisa was so nice, she came to my rescue and told me not to worry. She made sure every image was perfectly centered for the bracelet. I think my mom is going to love my birthday present. What do you think? Is this better than Leaf Lace?
If you would like to pounce on a beautiful bracelet too you can go to PetBookLady.com which will lead you to Lisa’s assigned Heritage Makers site.
You can sign up for a FREE Basic Studio Account. (Look for sign up on the top right of site) From there you will upload your photos. The bracelet project is under Photo Gifts.
Lisa created a You Tube Video (only 10 minutes) that shows us how to make a bracelet. Isn’t she terrific?

I’d love a bracelet to give to my mom! She’s just been through a hard move…left a house she lived in for 17 years…and one part that made it hard was leaving her little cemetery of beloved pets. This bracelet would be a great present for her! 🙂
Maryann Rohrabaugh says
The reason why I would want a bracelet is because recently I lost one of my cats. Its been extremely hard on me because she was the first cat I had on my own and also the fact it was a long struggle with the sickness. Of course, I do not even need to mention how much I loved her. Not only would I put her picture on there I would put my four other animals as they deserve a stop too (2 more cats, a dog and a ferret). My love for my pets is never ending; they are like my children. I take that back they are not “like” my children they are my children. They are a huge part of my life and any way to honor them is important to me. So in the end I feel that the best way to honor them is to have them with me at all times.

I would love to have the bracelet in order to give it to my vet. She treats only cats and, when one of my furry kids died in her office following surgery, she sent a sympathy card and flowers. My kitty had a stomach full of tumors and could not be saved. She mourned as much, if not more, than I did. She is a saint and deserves something as special as this lovely bracelet. Her name is Sharyn Jones, cat doc. Love her!!!

My husband and I have 4 kitties (Lily, Jake, Jack O’Lantern, and Daisy) that were all rescues. Last month we lost our cat Ghost very suddenly. Having this bracelet as a memento of my cats would mean the world to me. They are more than just cats, but my family and loves of my life.

My story i will keep short………..I have 2 cats Pip and Avy….still alive, but i wouldnt be if i didnt have them. I had a naff life….bla bla bla……its not relivant now but i trusted nobody. Got a job in a dogs home, lasted 3 months and couldnt bare seeing what went on so i left and stole a dog lol. She lived with my partners mum but rekindled that fire to want pets in my life after my mum died….so i got Pip and Avy……things got bad, partner left, nearly lost my home, got very ill but i didnt quit…(i mean very ill!!) i didnt quit because of my 2 wonderful cats!!!! When i got out of hospital i had no food or money so i begged on FB to get food for them…and it worked, i also got donations of noodles and crisps and even some cards with money in to keep me going………the truth is…..i saved them………and they saved me!!
I would die for my cats…..i went last christmas without heating coz i had to feed them……and i would do it every year if i had to. Im not going to go as deep as this story really does go but trust me……….3 lifes met for a reason and to me, these 2 wondeful babies are my everything and as long as they live….i will go hungry for them……..like i say, we saved each other :O)

I would love to have a bracelet of my very own so that when I had a hard day at work, I could look at my wrist for a bit of love, and smile.
Christi says
I would love to have one of the brackets to honor my beloved fur babies all 7 of them.
Kristi says
I’d love to have a bracelet to remember my sweet little feral Sally Maria. She has been battling cancer, kidney disease and heart disease for the last couple of years and is slowing losing her fight. I’m afraid the time is near for me to say good bye and one of these beautiful bracelets would make a wonderful way to remember her and keep her close.
kirsty bob stuart-clarke says
awww, i read your story………..i hope you win xxx
Karma Hurworth says
I would love to have the bracelet to show pictures of Gracey, Tony the Tiger, and other worthy causes. As a veterinary technician, I get questioned about my jewelry a lot, and it would be a great opportunity to share about these with people.

Ten years ago, I walked into my neighborhood PetsMart, and fell in love. There I met the most beautiful and loving, sweet angel with blue eyes and seal-point fur,a gentle soul named Pi. I knew from the moment we met that she was going to be mine. She had been placed in a home with too many cats, and they didn’t have time for her. I adopted her the very next day, praying overnight that she would still be there. When I arrived, there was a sign on her little cage that read “I’m going home” she had been reserved for me. She has been nothing but a blessing since the day I found her. I’m awakened each day with kisses and purrs and am so lucky to know her. I would love to win a bracelet so that I can carry a little part of her each day with me,because she always makes me smile, even when I’m down. =^..^=
Dr. Jane Dusek says
I would love a bracelet like this, especially because it is a Circle. And Love is a Circle…and this bracelet is the perfect expression of our love for our pets and their love for us.
Cheers! Dr. Jane.

I would love to have a bracelet to carry another reminder with me of my wonderful Ollie, hubby and the kitties I’ve had throughout the years. We’re unable to have kids so, needless to say, Ollie is our fur baby and is completely spoiled! I’d definitely add a pic of my first kitty (when I was 6), Muffie. He was a big white kitty that did tricks. 🙂 Whoever wins the bracelet is very lucky and will enjoy it just like your mom, Gracey! Great job!
Pam Anderson says
I would love a Keepsake Bracelet, as my kitty, Willie, is now 20 years old! I’ve had him since he was six-weeks old and we’ve shared an eventful, loving life together. He cannot live forever; however, having a bracelet, with a few of my favorite photos of the love of my life, would allow me to always have him with me, even after he’s gone. Love never dies! (I’m a very proud cat mom.)
Dionis says
Wow, that’s really cool. I’d like to win a bracelet so I could have pictures of Chaos and Harmony handy when people ask me if I have any kids. 🙂 And I know Chaos would love it too because he likes all shiny things.
Ashley says
I would love to win this bracelet because it will let me keep my fur babies near me while in the hospital for treatment for chronic leukocytosis.
Nellie says
That bracelet is so cute. PLease enter me. 😀
Melinda Rogers says
I would love to win this bracelet because my cats are my life. I love my furbabies more than words can describe and would love to show them off on my wrist!

Gracey, the bracelet is absolutely beautiful , but so was your leaf lace. I know your mom loved the leaf lace, and she will also love the bracelet! I would love to have a bracelet that I could fill with pictures of my beloved pet friends! Wearing it would be such a great witness to show others the blessings and joys of adopting/rescuing sweet pet friends!
Marie says
I would love to win the bracelet in order to take my kitties with me everywhere! I have to travel a lot due to my job and I miss my kitties when I’m away (though they have my family to watch over them). It would be a great way to see their whisker-y faces anytime I want. 🙂 It would also serve as a memorial to the ones I’ve lost. I love my babies! 🙂
Kristen says
I would love a bracelet to show off my furry children. It has been a very bad month for me, as one canine baby (who was 18 years) died, and days after, my beloved sweet kitty disappeared. I have been trying to think of a creative way to display everyone’s pictures, and this just might be it. So, I have two furangels in one month, leaving the rest of us to miss them terribly, but to also celebrate the love and joy they brought to my family for so many years. The other furries, the Fab 5, would like to see their pictures on a bracelet as well!
Retta says
I don’t know if you could call my kitties “rescues” or not. I did not go out looking for another kitty but they all seeed to find their way to our door. I sure wouldn’t trade them for the world! 18 yr old Rockapella who is definitely a “Mama’s Boy”; 10 yr old Shabba (aka the “Klutz”) who is so clueless that he has even set himself on fire; 8 yr old “The Phrog” who is white with blue eyes & has “selective” hearing; & 5 yr old “Tuula” who pretends that she only understands Finnish! Who could ask for anything more! Lol!
jone gagnon says
I would love a bracelet so i can carry all my pets always and when the day at the office is tuff, looking at them would cheer me up.and it is such a beautiful thing to look at!great gift Gracey!=^.^=
Janell says
Gracey, one of the reasons moms are special is that they like the presents you give them no matter what they are. I’m sure your mom will enjoy the bracelet, and opportunity to talk about you, just as much as she loved the fig lace leaf and fage.
I was thinking that a bracelet would be a nice way to remember my boys, Varmit and Pervis, but even though they passed away 2 years ago I still have trouble seeing their pictures without missing them and getting sad. I hope whoever wins the bracelet enjoys it (as I’m sure they will!)
Linda H. says
I would love to have a keepsake bracklet. What a great idea.
I could look down at the pics of my pets when I am away from home and then show them all off to my friends.
Again, great idea.
I would have Wile the Coyote (my rescue Doberman), Piggy and Chewbacka (brother cats), and my 2 other rescue Dobe: Jake and Sir Dule and their best cat girlfriend, Cookie the Calico, all at Rainbow bridge waiting for me.
I just love the idea and will get a bracelet and do it if I win or lose the contest!
Kimberly says
I would love, love, love a “Celebrate Your Pet in a Keepsake bracelet” because I would love to be able to look at my wrist and remember several of the cats I have rescued over the years. What a wonderful idea this bracelet is 🙂
Cindy says
I would love a bracelet with pictures of my sweet Malkin. He came to live with me the same week my grandmother passed away. She and I were very close and I miss her so much. Malkin has always been there for me when I need comfort or someone to listen. He has helped me more than I can express. I miss him when I go to work and would love to have him with me all the time.
Judy says
I would love the pet keepsake bracelet to be able to see my kitties at all hours of the day! I miss them so when I am at work! I cannot have human babies, so these are my children and most of the girls at work have bracelets with their human children on them. I would love to have one with my children on one also! My babies mean so much to me that i would risk my life for any one of them! They already call me the cat lady, so then i could really prove it by having a bracelet of them. Of course i would have to order a second one, because i have 12 children. Unless i can get 2 kitties in one photo :). Oh how i would just love one of these bracelets! Thank you for the contest and the chance of winning one! The Simon kitties and Judy!
Maxine says
Wearing this bracelot would be an attention getter! It would give me the opportunity to brag about “rescue” and how I got my boys.
Kelly Clarke says
I would love to have a bracelet with pictures of my rescued kitties and doggies. I think it is important to show them and let people know that there are many animals that need to be rescued and that they make some of the best pets.
Janet Collins says
I would LOVE a bracelet of my Maggie and gang, because I already carry them in my heart, why not on my wrist too!
Great idea, Gracey! I think your Mom will LOVE your gift!

I would like a bracelet so my family of kittehs can be complete again. We are all still missing Brother Spike kinda awful. My kittehs say, “Sure, we’re still teh Fab Five, but we want to be teh Super Six again.”
Sarahjane says
I would love to win this bracelet because i would like to wear pictures of my 2-dog, 2-cat home family as well as the 2-kittehs our office recently adopted. I love to show people pictures of them and when i pull them up on my phone, it usually takes a minute to open the album, then if it locks up or if it goes dim before the person looks, then we have to start over… If i had a bracelet, it would be much more streamline and I would be able to show them off to more people!
thank you for the opportunity to win and for ALL you do!
Best,
Sarahjane

I would love a bracelet to show off my furbabies that I had to give up when I lost my job and was unable to keep them when I moved to my sisters house. It has been over 4 years and I still miss them terribly. They are now living with a cat veterinarian and his wife and about 8 other cats, so this story did have a happy ending. I would love to wear a rememberance of them every day. Thanks.
Melisa says
I would love a bracelet of my cat Shadow, that was put to sleep exactly a month ago today while I was at work. I miss her so much each and everyday. This bracelet would help me cope with her unexpected death. Maybe if I won this bracelet, my parents would feel guilty and get me another furbaby! 🙂 Thanks Gracey! Love your bday idea for your mom!
