The Tiniest Tiger Turns Chicken Thief

Gracey's Blog

6 Oct

So, my dad is getting ready to cook dinner and I am pretty sure that is chicken wrapped up in the paper on the forbidden counter.  What to do, what to do.  Ok, I am going to behave.  I really am going to behave.

Oh, bother.  I missed my chance.  Now he has the chicken over at the stove.  He didn’t even see me sitting here.  I am such a tiger, a master of camouflage, completely indiscernible from my  surroundings.

What luck.  He has placed the chicken on the counter.  I am not going to steal a piece of chicken.  I will not steal a piece of chicken.  I will try not to steal a piece of chicken. I will only steal a small piece of chicken.  I am going to steal a small piece of chicken,  Here I  gooooooooooooooooo  Whoa!

Friends, I was air lifted by my mom just as I was leaping on my prey.  ~Sigh~ I will be chomping chow and pumpkin again tonight.  Wait….

Uh Oh!  It seems my dad is in trouble with my mom, not me.  She is telling him that he should not have left the chicken on the counter.  Hahahahahahaha, I shouldn’t laugh, but I can’t help myself.   She did not even scold me.  I have it made, I really do.

I better be extra nice to my dad tonight.  He is the one who gets my breakfast ready and shares his slanket. He is really good to me.  Honest he is.

But first, let me see if I can score a bite of chicken.  Meow for Now.

HAHAHA!!! You are so funny, Gracey!
That is EXACTLY what I would be doing.
I also hover over my Daddy’s shoulder at the dining table so he usually sneaks me a piece!
Our Mummy would also have scolded our Daddy for leaving the chicken so exposed on the counter!!!
    Mawhawhaw!

That is a great trick, Gracey – to be able to go after chicken on the counter and NOT get yelled at! That’s almost better than actually getting the chicken!

I like your “evil blending in” face Miss Gracey. Bob sits above the counter and observes whilst I cook. I yell, “No Bob! No! get down. Down!” a lot.

Oh Gracie. You’re such a cutie I know they couldn’t resist giving you one bite.
One of my little furry family loves strawberries and we
can’t leave them out where he can see them.
Thanks for sharing. Love the pictures.

I think it’s Mom’s fault because she took all them pictures and never said anything about your being there. For that faux pas I think you deserve a WHOLE piece of chicken!
