The Tiniest Tiger’s Tantrum

Gracey's Blog

Waiting for roasted chicken

Friends, as you can see from the look on my face, I am running out of patience.  I asked my dad for some roasted chicken, just a little tiny bit of roasted chicken to break up the monotony of my chow chomping routine.  I have been waiting almost all day.  He said when he came home from work I could get a treat.  So, I thought it was going to be a bit of roasted chicken, BUT it was more chow!

So….when he went outside, I had a surprise for him.

I jumped up on the counter and I walked all over his new bag of potato chips.  These chips make a great noise, it sounds like  a crinkle sack.  When I made sure his chips were just right, I  settled down and admired my work.  Can you see the smile on my face?

Then to make sure the chips were all in tiny  bite size pieces, I decided to walk over them again.

When….Whoops! I better find my mom.

Please don’t tell her I was on the counter. Meow for Now!

    Heehee!
Gracey, you remind me of my brother Kenji, because he loves crinkly chip packets too! Especially these ones called ‘Shapes’ – he comes running from wherever he is in the house when he hears it being opened!
You are a good girl because if it were me, I would just be chewing on the corner of the packet already. Mawhawhaw!

Gracey, Jaxy says that “human food is peculiar” and she can’t for the life of her figure out why “humans eat such strange things…like chicken.” However, she finds your potato chip dance very clever and funny (guess we better hide our chips now), and she very much understands your “need to vent” (have a tantrum)b/c she also “vents,” but in a much more vocal way. Do cats use “ugly words” and if so, what do they sound like? Jaxy might need her mouth washed out with soap.

What a clever girl. Both Sassie & Spydee give you 5 Meows for creativity, and they promise not to tell your Mom about you being you-know-where! Thanks for giving our Mom a smile this morning. 🙂

Gracey sometimes we cats just gotta do what a cat’s gotta do. We get chicken for most every meal but our mom doesn’t eat it. We get some of her yogurt sometimes.

Gracey, the criminal always returns to the scene of the crime. I knew Mr. Raccoon wasn’t at fault several weeks ago! 😉

Gracey that was very clever of you to walk all over your dad’s chip bag. You stinker you know just what to do, don’t you? I don’t think that helped you earn any more chicken points(Brownie points). So tantrums don’t get you anywhere….but for the moment they feel real good, huh?

Aww – don’t beat yourself up, Gracey. It happens to all of us. I am having a bad day too. I’ve been meowing all day telling my mom what’s going on, but she either won’t listen or can’t understand what I’m saying. I hope she figures it out soon.. Sigh.
