Eddie Thinks Annie Might Be a Magic Cat.

Joanne's Blog

19 May

Eddie Prince of CPT

I decided I needed a little me time so I claimed the top of the Cat Power Tower for the day.  I settled in nicely and began to survey the backyard. It was so relaxing with the cool breeze blowing while the sunshine kept me warm.  It was good to be the Prince.

But my territory was being stalked  by none other than Princess Annie.  She thought I didn’t see her slinking along getting ready to leap up and crowd her way onto the top platform with me.  But I was ready.

Eddie and Annie turf war

Just when she started to jump up, I stretched out and blocked access to the top.  Annie must have thought I blocked her by accident because she got ready to jump again, so I bopped her on the nose!

So, this was not one of my better choices because Annie sat down and gave me the look.  I knew right then that I had made a mistake because Annie is quite clever and she has a good memory too.  I tried to tell her I was sorry but that I just wanted a little me time, but then she said she would show me who’s the boss.  And with that she did something so wild, she must have magic powers.

Annie was able to float in mid-air.  I am not joking. She jumped from the tower and hung in the air.  Our mom was  so shocked she grabbed Annie out of the air and told her to settle down. I didn’t know what to think except that maybe it is better to share the top of the tower than to have Annie get that worked up again because who knows what she might do.

Annie and Eddie Waiting for Easter EggsI decided the top of the Cat Power Tower is big enough for both a Prince and a Princess. I asked Annie how she was able to float and she said. “Don’t be silly.  I was clinging to the screen.”  But I am keeping my eyes open for awhile just in case.

Meow for now.  Eddie.

Oh my goodness…look at that leap by Annie! Was she in mid air or holding on to the screen on the window? lol

She was locked onto the screen but it really looks like she is hanging in mid-air doesn’t it?
