Happy Mother’s Day to Lions, Tigers, House Cats, and Humans

Gracey's Blog

Happy Mother’s Day!

Sometimes it is easy to take for granted all the things that our mother’s do for us. On this day, I thought I would share with you just a few things mothers do for us for which we are grateful whether we are lions, tigers, house cats or humans.

Mothers Guide Us Down the Right Path

There are many paths to choose from while we learn our way in the world.  Mothers do their best to guide us down the right path.  It is up to us to listen.

Mothers Get Us Back on Track

Lioness carrying cubAnd when we don’t listen during our rambunctious times, our mothers are there to pick us up and get us back on track.

Mothers Listen to Us When Nobody Else Seems Interested

Lioness and feisty cubMothers listen to us even when nobody else seems interested.

Mothers Tell us a Thing or Two When We are Misbehaving

Tiger nudging cubMothers are there for us when we are about to misbehave.  They just know when we are up to no good.  Then they gently remind us there are  consequences for our actions.  Sometimes they are most persuasive.

Mothers Protect Us from Predators

Mothers Love Us Unconditionally

Mothers love us no matter what.  Even when we are rotten.  That is super important.   And we love them back.

Remember Every Moment is Precious

Lion and cubEvery moment we have with our mother is precious.   Cherish your mother’s love that is living in your heart.

A Mother’s Love Has No Bounds

No matter what species or circumstances a mother’s love has no bounds.  Love is love.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Hi, I’m Joanne and I love all cats. With a Global Field Master of Zoology degree focused on big cat conservation, I like to learn and talk about big cats too. I share my habitat with Paul and we were adopted by our cats Annie, Eddie and Bob.

The Tiniest Tiger has a fierce following of cat lovers and we’d love it, if you’d join us.
