I found Bossy Back Yard Blue Jay snacking on the Squirrel’s food and he seemed to be in good spirits.

But when I asked him if he would be willing to come  and be Mister Blue Bird on my shoulder, boy did his mood change.  He asked me if I thought he looked like he was hatched yesterday.

Friends, I didn’t know what to say.  He was looking a little perturbed.

Then he asked, ” Gracey, do  you know the story of The Frog and the Crocodile?“

Friends, The Frog and the Crocodile does not have a happy ending. So our Friend Sherree Smith wrote a second verse for the song so that Bossy Backyard Blue Jay didn’t need to sit on my shoulder.
