It’s August, the sun is shining bright and it is also the month of 9 Lives for $9, the Best Friends national adoption promotion that shines the spotlight on cats! During the month of August you can adopt a cat or kitten for $9 from Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Best Friends pet adoption centers in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City, one of Best Friends’ New York weekend adoption events, or from one of the 110 participating No More Homeless Network Partners across the country.

Best Friends Animal Society’s No More Homeless Pets Network focuses on building relationships and working with rescue organizations and municipal shelters across the country to end the killing of dogs and cats in our nation’s shelters.  So you don’t have to live in LA or NYC to find a participating Best Friends partner to find your feline family member.
