Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! no tricks only Treats

No tricks here today. Only treats. We are getting ready for Trick or Treat night. Annie and Bob are purrparing the candy selection in the black cat bowl. Eddie is playing with one of his toys.

Purrparing for Trick or Treat

It is unusually cold here this Halloween. Early this morning there was a coat of frost on the back deck and our poor raised garden is no more. The last of the basil and rosemary now a dark brown and sad looking; perhaps perfect for Halloween.

Annie Loves The Fireplace

Annie loves the fireplace. Whenever there is a bit of a chill in the air, she is asking for us to light the fire. Even when it is not that cold in the house it is hard to refuse her cute little face.

Annie got her way. There is a fire going.

Annie claims this space as her own and sometimes you will catch her stretched out as long as possible to make sure nobody else shares the space.

Annie does not like to share her fireplace time, even with Eddie, so poor Bob has been denied napping in front of the fireplace.

But this morning, look what happened! Annie permitted Bob to take a nap in front of the fire. Our house is a bit colder these last couple of days as we wait for the furnace repair to arrive. Our blower decided to quit just when the weather turned cold.

In case you are wondering where Eddie might be, he is busy playing with his toys. Our Eddie plays with toys more than any cat we have known.

Remembering Gracey and Mercy

Holidays bring memories with them. I was thinking about our Mercy and his little jack-o-lantern toy and our Gracey, who loved to sit in the light of the jack-o-lantern.

Mercy is intrigued but not excited over his little jack-o-lantern toy.

Welcome to The Tiniest Tiger

Joanne McGonagle Namibia

Hi, I’m Joanne and I love all cats. With a Global Field Master of Zoology degree focused on big cat conservation, I like to learn and talk about big cats too. I share my habitat with Paul and we were adopted by our cats Annie, Eddie and Bob.

The Tiniest Tiger has a fierce following of cat lovers and we’d love it, if you’d join us.
