Big Cats, Little Cats & Watermelon

The 19-month-old tigers at the Cincinnati Zoo are treated to watermelon on a hot days. The tigers are provided the watermelons as part of their enrichment program. An enrichment program is developed to stimulate each animal’s natural behavior and provide variety in their daily routine.

Here are the young tigers enjoying their cool treat.

After watching the video of their big cat cousins enjoying the watermelon, Annie and Eddie decided to give it a try.Ā  Mercy just shook his head.
