Earlier today, I was playing on my Cat Power Tower in my Sunroom when one of my Deer friends came by to visit. This is what happened.

What kind of food do you feed your deer? I only ask because a deer’s dietary needs changes seasonally and if you feed it the wrong thing you can make it ill and even kill it.

Thank you for this important comment. We are feeding a limited mix of pellets with a few apples, nuts and oats and a bit of corn.  I will research more on this topic. Do you have some suggested resources for us to share?

Here’s one thing I found. It’s a little stern about feeding deer in general, so take it with a grain of salt, but apparently, the Big Bad in winter is lots of corn:

It sounds like the pellets, if they’re leafy based, should be OK.

OK, I meant to post this, too. Silly work, getting in the way of important things!
Good hunting, Gracey! I know you are on the case!
